Eating Habits...

Finding the lump gave me a wake up call. My health hasn't been as good as it used to be, aches and pains on every corner. And my weight? Ok, I've put up with it and bought bigger clothes.
But there is something I can do!
About 20 years ago I learned to cook macrobiotic. Being part of the rat race - although I always liked to think I'm not - makes it easy to forget about healthy eating and just eat the usual junk food. On top of this I was not happy with myself as I know better ways to feed myself than fish and chips or sweets.

So I started with what I had at home and what I was able to buy in the local shops. A glass of miso survived in my cupboard and surprisingly some slightly out of date shiitake mushrooms. Together with onions and carrots this will make already a good miso soup.

I filled my tummy with rice and vegetables and...
... already lost two kilos in just 5 days.

I have no cravings for chocolate so far and my coffee adiction seems to fade away. That's what happened last time as well.

It seems a little bit difficult to buy tofu and seaweeds in Wales. But I found two online supplier:

www.macrobioticshop.co.uk/
www.planetorganic.com/

However, Fu Rings, one of my favourate, seems to be unavailible in UK. Do I really have to order them in Germany?

For good tips and where to buy Fu Rings I would be grateful.

    * Don't assume that anyone has all the answers.
    * Try looking at your situation from a different point of view.
    * Seek more information from a new source.

And, yes, I am a nurse.
And, no, I don't believe in medicine as it is taught in Western countries.
