Everything is going my way.

Yesterday was the first day without pain. After just one week of macrobiotic diet. Or better said 50% macrobiotic diet.
My taste buds are getting more sensitive. Alright, I'm on the right path with this. And I knew it!

Next January I want to go on a cruise. On this one:

Unfortunately I haven't learnt yet how to embed this link.

I have to do a self assessment for my job. One question is regarding which position I would like to have. I want to do what I am doing now but getting more responsibilities as well. I think I have the German model of community nursing in my mind. The way I did it, doing everything beginning with assessment, finding resources, advicing, councelling and care. I think it was a good way to do it.

Here is another link of my to-do list:

If somebody can tell me how to embed the page, that would be great! I know web design basics...

Eating Habits...

Finding the lump gave me a wake up call. My health hasn't been as good as it used to be, aches and pains on every corner. And my weight? Ok, I've put up with it and bought bigger clothes.
But there is something I can do!
About 20 years ago I learned to cook macrobiotic. Being part of the rat race - although I always liked to think I'm not - makes it easy to forget about healthy eating and just eat the usual junk food. On top of this I was not happy with myself as I know better ways to feed myself than fish and chips or sweets.

So I started with what I had at home and what I was able to buy in the local shops. A glass of miso survived in my cupboard and surprisingly some slightly out of date shiitake mushrooms. Together with onions and carrots this will make already a good miso soup.

I filled my tummy with rice and vegetables and...
... already lost two kilos in just 5 days.

I have no cravings for chocolate so far and my coffee adiction seems to fade away. That's what happened last time as well.

It seems a little bit difficult to buy tofu and seaweeds in Wales. But I found two online supplier:

www.macrobioticshop.co.uk/
www.planetorganic.com/

However, Fu Rings, one of my favourate, seems to be unavailible in UK. Do I really have to order them in Germany?

For good tips and where to buy Fu Rings I would be grateful.

Laughing for Longevity

Today I met my "Laughter-Teacher". Markus is a young boy and he has the most delightful laughing you can imagine. Not long and I am laughing along with him.

The joy of laughing only for the fun of it until tears are running down the cheaks.

I read today: You don't stop laughing because you are getting older - you get older because you stopped laughing.

Nowadays seminars of laughter are offered. Just google for it.

Wanted: Fresh Blood

I found this job offer in a bulletin.
An agency is searching for nurses to work all around the world.
Maybe after all the nursing studies will bring me around.

Anyway, I am so close to finish my course that I will do it. And then I will see what opportunities there are.

Although I'm happy with the job I have - I want more!
More money.
More adventure.
More time to spend with my hubby.
More traveling.
More sun.

Oh, yesterday I visited Menehune and found this:

NAU KE KU'I, LOHI KA LIMA

When one grinds the teeth, the hand slows
(anger interferes with accomplishment)

* Forgive the hurt and get on with life.
* Forgiveness begets freedom, more for you than another.
* Your highest good has no room for anger.

And, yes, I am angry and thought already myself that all the little health issues I have might been caused by anger. And I know that nobody cares if I am mad at him. So chill out and enjoy your life!

GET HAPPY!

It was last Tuesday that I felt a lump in my right boop. Big as a plum it was sitting there. I felt very alone. And I tried to figure out what to do. Usually one would now go to the doctors. I don't believe in that. I think the doctor will give it a name, will call it cancer and then cut away my boop and poison me. What other options are there?
I believe in the healing power of the body. So what to do? After getting myself to believe that there are other options and I will find them I dared to feel it again: IT WAS NOT THERE ANYMORE!?

Next day I got a mail from Jerry and Esther about a video which shows an easy approach to understand the Law of Attraction.

So! Get happy!
While sitting in a country you don't want to be? While studying what you don't want to do? While getting all this bills.....

YES! GET HAPPY!

Finding the rascal (German: der Lump = rascal) made me - again - see that I just don't believe in medicine as it is preached nowadays. Why *** I am studying to become a nurse? Isn't that a reason to be happy about!
James, my Wealth Advisor, in a conversation: You want to be rich. No, I think as a nurse you won't get rich.
And Serge, my Life Advisor, said: imagine who you want to be and then become it.

And that's

what I want to be: me on my wedding day.
I am happy. I'm in love with Anthony. I am smiling. I am adventurous. I like myself.
